Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Appsitekit helps iOS developers generate and host websites for their App Store apps. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and how users can exercise privacy rights, including rights available under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Controller
Appsitekit is operated by hans jerry U P. For privacy questions or requests, email support@appsitekit.com.
Information We Process
- App Store listing URLs and public listing information such as app name, description, screenshots, category, price, version, and compatibility.
- Information you choose to add, such as support email, YouTube video URL, extra app details, and generated website content.
- Project identifiers, backend session identifiers, publishing status, and editor credentials needed to secure your project.
- Apple purchase and subscription verification information, including transaction identifiers and product IDs.
- Server logs and diagnostics used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How We Use Information
We use this information to generate websites, create previews, publish hosted sites, provide protected editing, verify subscriptions, prevent abuse, maintain service security, diagnose problems, and provide support.
Legal Bases for Processing
- Contract: to provide website generation, previews, publishing, hosting, protected editing, and subscription unlocks.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, and keep basic operational records.
- Consent: when you choose to provide optional information such as a YouTube link or extra app details, or when you choose to load third-party embedded media on our website.
- Legal obligations: when we must keep records for tax, accounting, payment, dispute, or compliance reasons.
AI Processing
Appsitekit may send public listing information and user-provided project details to AI service providers to generate website copy, page structure, translations, and related website material.
Payments
In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. Appsitekit verifies Apple transaction information to unlock annual hosted website plans.
Hosting and Processors
We use service providers to operate Appsitekit. These may include Apple for in-app purchases and transaction verification, hosting and infrastructure providers for the website and backend, AI providers for generation, and email or support tools when you contact us. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Appsitekit.
International Transfers
Appsitekit may process information in countries other than where you live. When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, provider data processing terms, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Retention
We keep project data while the project or subscription is active, while the user needs access to the generated website or editor, or while needed for support, security, legal, accounting, or dispute purposes. If a project is deleted, we remove the local project data and replace any published site with a removed landing page where technically available. Some backup, log, payment, and compliance records may remain for a limited period where required or reasonably necessary.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, including if you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, email support@appsitekit.com. We may need enough information to verify the request and find the relevant project or subscription.
Deletion Requests
You can request deletion of Appsitekit project data, generated website files, and published website content by contacting support. If your request relates to Apple purchase history or App Store billing, Apple may retain those records under its own policies.
Cookies, Analytics, and Embedded Media
Appsitekit does not use advertising tracking or sell personal information. We avoid non-essential cookies on the public marketing website. Embedded YouTube video content is not loaded automatically; it loads only after a visitor chooses to load the video.
Complaints
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
